Origin: Yemen, highlands of the Haraz region at an elevation of 1800 - 2200 meters above sea level.
Variety: Tibeca, and non-genetically modified Arabica strain
What distinguishes the crops of that region is the sweetness of the coffee fruits and irrigation on rainwater. Camel Step started collaborating with Uncle Ghaleb in 2020 crop focusing on developing a special processing method to accentuate the best flavors of the coffee beans. After direct collaboration, Uncle Galib expressed his readiness to establish a long-term partnership and further enhance the processing technique.
The processing method relied on controlled fermentation at moderate temperatures to increase the sugar content in the coffee beans and enhance the fruitiness of the coffee after roasting.
