Origin: Rwanda, NYAMASHEKE district, in the CYATO sector, in western Rwanda
The washing station is located at an altitude of approximately 1,850 meters above sea level level. The focus of the farmers was on the work of bees and other pollinators. They see them as the main players in food production. The effect of bees on coffee production was significant but not noticed or considered until recently. When bees during pollination leave vital microorganisms, it gives coffee a more consistent size and better flavours.
